We aspire to a future where the majestic powerful Shire breed continually grows in number, improves in quality, continues to distinguish itself with a massively powerful draft horse type, maintains sufficient genetic diversity and requisite variety, to ensure that future generations can use and enjoy the gentle strength of the Shire Horse breed for centuries to come.

In a future world where fossil fuels and other forms of energy become increasingly scarce and expensive, mankind will once again find itself grateful that the powerful Shire Horse is alive and able to lean its’ mass into a collar, in quiet reliable service.   Their perspiration will once again have vital purpose.

Current Shire enthusiasts, will honor preceding generations of Shire breeders, by saving the breed from extinction, in a form worth saving, so when called upon, the Shire breed can again step forward to duty.
